Adobe Flash updated to plug four critical huge security holes

Posted on January 15, 2015

adobe-flash-player-logoAdobe has just released a critical update to their Flash Player to plug four new critical security holes. It appears that the holes will never stop opening up in this software.

Any,way, if you visit websites that use Flash (and most of us do), I strongly recommend that you head on over to the Adobe website and install the update ASAP. Here’s how:

1 – Visit http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and uncheck both of the boxes under “Optional offers”.

2 – Click the Install now button.

3 – When prompted, allow the download to proceed and then make your choice concerning “automatic updates”.

Note: If the update fails to install correctly, uninstall Adobe Flash using the Windows “Uninstall a Program” utility, then start over with step #1.

That’s all there is to it. Good luck!

Important: Since this post deals with a serious security flaw, please consider sharing it on Facebook and Twitter to help get the word out as quickly as possible. Thanks.
