Facebook now allows you to edit your posts

Posted on September 28, 2013

facebook-logoHave you ever made a serious typo in one of your Facebook posts and wished you could edit the post to fix it? We all have of course, but until now all we could do was delete the post altogether and then re-post that awesome nugget of info that we wanted to share with the world.

Well, as of this week Facebook now gives us the ability to edit a post without having to delete and re-post it from scratch.  Here’s how:

1 – Click the Down Arrow that’s located to the far right of the post you wish to edit.

2 – Select Edit Post from the drop-down list.

3 – Make your desired changes, then click Done Editing.

That’s all there is to it. You’d think that the fine folks at Facebook could have given us such a simple, yet extremely useful tool a long time ago, but at least they finally got around to it!
