Question from Bonnie:  How can I delete am unwanted conversation from Facebook without opening it first?

Rick’s answer:  I love questions like this, Bonnie. Short, and directly to the point!

Luckily, it’s very easy to delete any Facebook Messenger conversation without having to open it first.

How you do that depends on how you’re accessing your Facebook messages. Just follow the steps below that match the device you’re using.

If you’re accessing Facebook via a web browser on a laptop or desktop computer:

1 – Log into your Facebook account.

2 – With your Newsfeed on the screen, click the Messenger link over in the left-hand column.

3 – Hover your mouse over the conversation you wish to delete until three little dots pop up.

4 – Click those dots and select Delete from the drop-down menu.

5 – Click Delete to confirm that you really want to delete the conversation.

If you’re using the Messenger app on a mobile device:

1 – Log in to your account.

2 – Tap and hold your finger on the conversation you wish to delete until a menu pops up.

3 – Tap Delete.

4 – Tap Delete again to confirm that you really want to delete the conversation.

That’s all there is to it. The unwanted conversation should no be gone.

I hope this helps, Bonnie. Good luck!
