Do you enjoy keeping up with the latest in technology?

If so, you probably know that replacing your router’s proprietary firmware with the free open-source DD-WRT firmware could possibly increase your Wi-Fi speed, extend your wireless range and make your wireless connection more stable.

That being said, you might also be afraid to install DD-WRT on your own expensive router because of the very real chance that you might accidentally “brick” it.

Well, now you can actually buy an awesome wireless router that comes from the factory with DD-WRT already installed!

There are many DD-WRT based routers on the market, and you can buy one today if you want. And believe it or or not, they are about the same price as what you’d pay for a comparable router running proprietary firmware.

In addition to the amazing power and flexibility provided by the aforementioned DD-WRT firmware, these routers typically have everything you need to set up an 802.11ac Wi-Fi network that is super-fast, far reaching and extremely secure.

Bottom line:  If you want the power and flexibility offered by the awesome DD-WRT open source router firmware but you’re hesitant to install it on an expensive AC router, I don’t blame you one bit. Luckily, now you don’t have to!
