If you do a lot of shopping online, you no doubt order a “dud” every now and then.
After all, marketers literally make their livings designing websites, ads and product descriptions that make every item they sell appear to be the best product ever built.
Well, if you shop on Amazon, there’s a very easy way to ensure that virtually all of your purchases are great ones…
The secret to this magic is always checking the Amazon Best Sellers lists!
Amazon updates the Best Sellers List for every major product category on an hourly basis. This keeps the lists fresh and relevant, guaranteeing that you can always rest assured that you’re basing your purchasing decision on the best and most current info possible.
Using the Best Sellers Lists is easy. Simply click this link and then choose the relevant category from the list over in the left-hand column. You can then “drill down” to the specific sub-category that contains the products you’re looking to buy.
Once you are in the most relevant sub-category, you’ll find the best selling items in that category listed by the total number of sales.
You will also see the number of user reviews that have been written for each item along with an average “star” rating (1-5 stars). If you see an item with thousands of user reviews that has a 4+ star average rating, you can probably feel quite good about purchasing that item.
Simply pick an item to add to your cart to bring the total up to the free shipping threshold and you’ll be all set.
There you have it. Happy shopping!
