Comcast/Xfinity recently expanded their reduced-rate Internet Essentials program to include an wider demographic.
In a nutshell, this plan offers 75 Mbps broadband Internet connection (where available) for just $14.95 per month, with home Wi-Fi included at no additional charge.
What’s more, $14.95 isn’t an introductory rate that will expire after a few months or a year. That’s the cost of this plan, period.
Many people are paying several times the price of this plan for comparable download speeds, and the quality of their service is often absolutely horrible.
That’s why I say this plan is an awesome deal for anyone who qualifies for it and can truly benefit from it.
I need to mention here that this program does not include Xfinity cable TV or landline telephone service. It’s basically just a 75 Mbps Internet connection with Wi-Fi.
But that being said, it’s still an awesome deal for someone who might be going through a tough time financially.
