If you use Netflix, you have most likely noticed a new feature called “Private Recommendations”. It allows your friends to privately send you recommendations for movies and TV shows to watch on Netflix.
Some users love the new “Private Recommendations” feature, and others hate it. The rest simply ignore it.
If you receive a ton of recommendations and find them annoying, you can easily disable the Private Recommendations feature. Here’s how:
1 – Log into your account on the Netflix website.
2 – Click on your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
3 – Click on Your Account.
4 – Find the “Your Profile” section, then click the Social Settings link.
5 – Disconnect your Facebook account.
That’s all there is to it. From now on you won’t receive any more movie and TV show recommendations from your friends.
